ABOUT BILL MORRIS

Bill Morris is an architect who first started to draw buildings, and then inspired by the work of David Gentleman and Paul Hogarth, to paint them, moving from line to areas of colour to better evoke the surfaces of buildings. His work concentrates both on individual buildings in isolation, and also in relationship to their surroundings. His Panorama of London was exhibited at the Royal Academy in 1999, and his paintings are in numerous collections.
